I've searched, and googled, and read, and still can't find the answer- Apologies if its been asked, I couldn't find it on here either.

Has anyone seen/heard the schedule for refitting the new First Suites on the A380's? Everything I've read has said "hopefully" and other vague descriptors.

Hoping it is completed by May for our SIN-DXB flight, then we are slumming it for the DXB to FCO leg in, in, in J on a 777 (at least its an overnight and we will just be sleeping anyway).

Also, do you think with an F flight coming into DXB, we can use the F lounge before boarding another flight in J?

Thanks peep's!

I saw a post on facebook about it a day or two ago (I think linking to Flyer Talk). I gather the Suites have a larger IFE screen.

Thanks, I'd seen that article. It's vague and not clear about nimbers, specific roll out, etc. Seems EK CEO is more about dispelling rumour vs giving info.

At present is just two slightly different variations on the same core design with the IFE screen size being the main difference

That's because Emirates is keeping its powder dry on this until it has something to launch. Right now all we know is what Emirates has revealed, which is fairly scant... but it's also quite some time away, and you definitely won't be seeing them on your EK flight next May.

Thanks David. Although not what I wanted to hear. :)
