EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

I haven't received any offers from Big W for months however I am receiving constant reminders from EDR via email and on the bottom of every Woolies docket to remember to use the voucher book they sent me. Given that none of the bonus points for $spend are anywhere close to my usual (relatively low) spend at Woolworths, none of them will get used and the "percentage off" offers when you spend $X in a certain department don't match any of my spending habits either, so their data mining seems to be pretty off as far as I'm concerned! 20% off when you spend $15 at the bakery? The most I EVER spend is about $3-4 for a bag of bread rolls. 15% off when you spend $25 at the deli? I rarely ever buy anything at the deli except for the occasional roast chook, and even then only when they're marked down :), or some chicken fillets, which never cost more than $10.

Yes, the targets for my partner's coupons were way too high as well. The deli one was $25 like yours and we only spend about $10 at any given time. I haven't received any reminders to use the coupons however. Maybe that's because we used the online coupon and the meat coupon.

No offers for me this week at WOW, did pickup the last two $50 myer gift cards, so now have two $10 vouchers to use.

Nope... we don't have any kids (that's 4 offers gone) and my Mrs wasn't interested in the others.

That's interesting. I'd assumed that when I received the same Big W offer it was targeted; as in they know i regularly shop for baby/kid products.
Surprised that some received same offer without have recent kid related purchases.

Same. Jnr has just started formula for some feeds and that is the formula I buy. I'd never bought it from Big W (Only WW and Coles) so I just assumed they were trying to get me to buy it from Big W instead.

He has been out the country now for 2 months and his offers keep getting better. Also strange they sent the offer on a Sunday.

I let Week 2 offers slide - trying to spend (minimum) $210 for 1k points wasn't going to fly with Mother's Day.

Instead fulfilled Mrs QF WPs' $30 BWS offer for 250 points - Mrs QF WP needed Moscato.

Same here. Will most certainly take up the $160/750pt week 3 offer this week.

So much easier to plan your spends when you know the offers in advance.

I let the week 2 offers slide as well.

Will definitely be taking up this weeks triple points offer. Not to sure about the 10% off on $45 worth of fruit and veggies offer as we rarely get through that much.

Barks, I echo your comments about Week 3 - I had double and triple points from which to choose. That may not get me 1K points this week, but better meets our shopping timeframe.

I quite like the triple points offers as I don't feel the need to spend more than I have to. Having said that, I have another $200 spend for 1000 points for week 4 so will stock up non-perishables (WW sells the ink I need for my printer for example) next week. As vec and others have said, it's very nice to plan a few weeks in advance :)
