EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Some of the family members got 500 points for $75 and 250 points for $50. I don't think we would have taken either of those up even if we didn't have the spend $90 4 week promotion available.

I've just received an offer for 500 points for a $120 spend - seriously???? Given that my usual spend at Woolies tends to be somewhere between $20-$40? Try again EDR.

Mum - 750 bonus points for $160 spend
Dad - 500 bonus points for $120 spend
Wife - 750 bonus points for $160 spend

In addition to the lousy F&V offer I got 500/$120 spend, AGAIN.

Off to Coles this week as I have $20 flybuys credit to use.

Same deal spend $15+ for 30% off.

Agree it's not an easy hurdle given the only F&V is normally either on special bananas or broccoli or apples or mandarins.

Strangely enough they do not seem to ever make them all on special....

coughpy learning experience. Activated a few offers while on overseas lounge wifi. Shop today and there is no discount. Activate the offers again to get a now activation message, not the 'This offer already activated message". Third activation gets the already activated message.

Today received spend $100 save $15 instantly for 3 weeks. I probably won't use it every week but activated it on the off chance I will use it on one of the weeks.

I got offer for 500 points for $75 spend. (Last offer was 5000 points for $50 home delivery.)

Only swiped EDR card once, for a small value purchase in last few weeks.

Have not activated current offer.

My partner got spend $35 for 250 points. I might do a small shop on Wednesday before our big shop on the weekend to qualify for week 2 of the 4 week promotion.

My partner got spend $35 for 250 points.

Interesting.

I reckon they know, from the 5000 point promo, that i can put together a $50 spend if I need to. Hence they now want me to spend $75 :(

Maybe I need to swipe my card for more low value transactions (under $30).

3 cards have spend $30 for 250 points offers. Had 2 offers last week on these cards - 35/250 points and 50/250 points and didn't use either. Could be shopping at Woollies this week.

Dad - double points this weekend
Brother - double points this weekend
Wife - double points this weekend

With us it would appear as though they are alternating between points offers for certain spend one week and double points offers on the alternate weeks.

Looks like I won't be getting the 250 bonus points for the second $35 spend either, since the bonus points for the following week's offer (boring old double points) have since appeared. ie; That's 500 missing points, since I started tracking them.

For anybody who's still going to bother with EDR offers (I'm not), I'd suggest that you keep the e-mails and a screenshot of the activation. Not keeping the latter was my downfall.

Their "system" also does a coughpy job of keeping track of the 4¢ per litre fuel discounts, but at least that one works in my favour. ;)

I haven't been following this thread for the past few months, after unsubscribing from all the EDR offers and forgetting about them. But today 500 points appeared in my QFF account, and when I took a closer look, they were the 2 x 250 points from those EDR offers about three months ago!

I won't be re-subscribing to any EDR offers, though. The past few months of less spam and more relaxed shopping have been quite refreshing.
