Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I prefer the wishcards for fuel purchases as I take the points instead of the discount. Do fly buys have the same setup (converting 4cpl into 2pts per litre?).

With coles dockets you can get both points and discounts. You get the fuel voucher from shopping at Coles. For every $2 spent at Coles Express you get 1 flybuy point regardless of whether the purchase is for fuel or in-store goods. If you happen to spend over $2 instore you get an extra 2 cents per litre off your petrol. I like getting both points and discount at Coles Express. The earn rate isn't as good as the other flybuys partners but it's better than nothing. I think I prefer this savings method to having to choose between points or discount at Woolworths/Caltex outlets.

i'm with you rainbowgirl, but our local Coles tends to put up their prices quicker than Woolies, so somedays it's a hard call to make.

Just a coughpy promo for the Woolworths car insurance.....

No points offers, but will scan my cards on my next Woolies shops, as I had been waiting for the "we miss you" offers

Very much liking that bonus points offers are rolling through. I haven't shopped at BWS in ages... and am starting to like the choices at First Choice... so they better send in an offer if they want my business back. Might even tell the neighbours across the street that BWS isn't worth it anymore for their scotch

Hope they're feeling the pinch!

+1 for this markfitz1

My method is use gift card at bottom of fuel price, convert fuel voucher for points, claim GST back for business use, claim balance as tax deduction...

EASY CHEAP POINTS...

Even Mrs Shintaro's Coles staff discount card does not give 5% off fuel...!

If all my fuel vouchers (ww and coles combined) are of the same value, I check the prices at both my WW/Caltex and the Coles Express/Shell a couple of hundred metres away. If they work out to be the same petrol price then I go to the Coles. If WW/Caltex works out cheaper after the voucher then I use them.

Just got a fuel voucher offer! :(
Buy Woolworths Gold products and earn 6, 8 or 10cpl fuel voucher. It looks like Christmas puddings, mince pies etc. No thanks!

I got the same fuel offer, but for 'Oral care or personal wash items'. Feedback sent.

Incidentally, the last post on this thread before today was on the 5th - 6 days ago! I wonder if WOW have noticed a comensurate drop in trade. Considering the constant fuel offers, maybe not.

I got my silver FB card in the mail last week, and it is already getting used.

I just got an offer. I haven't had one in a couple of weeks. Spend $50 at WW in one transaction to get a 10 cent a litre voucher.

I might consider doing this later in the week depending on how good the flybuys offers are. I spent $50 last Friday to get the 10 cent voucher general offer, mostly stocking up on a couple of months worth of cans of soft drink plus items that I can only get at Woolworths. I don't feel really special getting this offer seeing as they were giving it to everyone last week. I've got heaps of 8 cent vouchers so I don't really need a 10 cent voucher. It's handy though having both high value WW vouchers as well as high value Coles vouchers just in case there is a base price difference between the two petrol stations.

I sent feedback saying bring back the bonus point offers. I actually like high value fuel vouchers, but even I think this type of offer has been going on too long. I hope the bonus point offer start back before Christmas. I liked the 5x points offers that I got just before Christmas last year.

It doesn't happen very often but occasionally on the day of the big price jump, one brand will go up first and the other a couple of hours later. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to get petrol on these days at the brand that hasn't gone up. I hope that makes sense.

Perfect sense. I have a diesel, and a fuel card so don't take as much notice of the fluctuations as it seems to only be petrol that is affected.

Near where I live, there are two Coles Express on opposite sides of the road. They don't always go up (or down) at the same time!

Two coughpy more fuel offers. One was actually a
[h=1]bonus fuel saving because we miss you[/h]
. More angry feedback to WW and another week of not shopping at WW.

Interesting to see the "we miss you" petrol offer. We haven't used my partner's card since the start of October so I'm wondering how long it takes to trigger a "we miss you" offer at the moment.
