Hope this is the right place to post this.
I currently have the Amex qantas premium card its gives me 2500 bonus points for qantas spend. Whats the cheapest and easiest way to get this? I am not planning on flying with qantas any time soon, so flights and vouchers wont work. Any other options?
Any help appreciated

A Qantas voucher is essentially a flight, as you are issued a PNR, so that should work.

I understood OP's statement to mean that they have no plans to fly QF soon, so they don't want to buy a voucher. Perhaps they could buy one to gift to someone else?

Otherwise I'm not sure if Qantas Shop spend is eligible, but they have a $5.95 keyring which may do the trick!

I don't believe this will work.

As much as the OP says that they don't want a gift voucher, this is the method that I would recommend.

Buy a $50 gift voucher. It has 12 months validity on it. You can make a booking in Dec 2017 using that voucher for a flight that is up to Dec 2018.

Otherwise give the gift voucher to someone else.

Indeed, I just looked up the T&Cs..

2,500 bonus Qantas Points after your first Card spend in Australia on selected Qantas products and services 10

10 Selected Qantas products and services are Qantas passenger flights with a QF flight number purchased on the Qantas merchant account i.e. with Qantas direct or some travel agents and Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Club membership joining and annual fees. Excludes Jetstar, Qantas Holidays, and Qantas branded non-airfare products.

Looks like the best option would be to buy the $50 voucher at an effective rate of 57 points per dollar.

Yes, after reading that again, I suspect you're right. However it's likely the only way to trigger the bonus.
