Easiest way to extend Bali tourist visa?

My understanding for Australians in Bali is 30 day tourist visa can be extended once for 60 days. It requires 3 activities:

1. Visit your local immigration office and drop off your passport.
2. Return to immigration offices once they have processed the extension for a quick biometric session.
3. Return to the immigration office again to collect your passport.

Given we're going for ~45 days, this is a necessary evil it seems.

Has anyone done this themselves, vs using a service to complete it?

Yes I have done it, I did it myself, its not that hard (but not in Bali, so maybe the queues will be longer for you) It was not quite how you described it, but it is 3 visits. Maybe different processes now.

The only benefit in using an agent is your time, if thats worth $100, then use an agent.

But, it would be much easier to apply for a 60 day visa, from Australia, before you go. (why didnt I take my own advice, dunno, dont remember, maybe we extended the stay beyond 30 days)

depends on how much you value your time, 3 visits to Kantor Immigrasi took me 2 hours each including travel/taxi and there was no queue where i was (probably only white man within 50 miles)

Where’s the application form for a tourism B211A?

Spoke with immigration - if you can get a VOA, you can't apply for a B211A 60 day tourism visa in advance... unless you have a sponsor in Indonesia

And the cheapest fee I can find is 3,300,000 Rp for a sponsor to submit a B211A visitor 60 day visa.

And you can extend a eVOA online too!
