Unsure how they’re meant to post. I didn’t receive either bonus points or discount and had to get in touch with BP to sort it out.

Got the discount question on the terminal, tapped yes, and it got applied.
Was it hard to get it fixed with BP? Email? Phone? I guess I ll have to contact them next week.

Sounds like I should buy some fuel, not get the right points and then have an easy path to hitting 1,000 points within 3 months.

I also only received 1x points, but did receive the 5c/L discount. After contacting bp about this they credited 1000 points to more than make up for their system error.

First of all, I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you experienced — I completely understand how frustrating it must be to miss out on a discount you were eligible for.

This issue is part of an ongoing system error at some BP station POS terminals, and it’s not your fault at all. Our technical team is actively working to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Upon checking your transaction I can confirm that you did not receive the 5c per litre discount, nor the 5x bonus points that were part of the promotional offer.

To make up for this, I’ve gone ahead and added:

140 points for the missed 5x bonus points140 points for the missed $1.40 discount (based on your fuel purchase)

As a gesture of goodwill, I’ve also added extra points, bringing the total to 1000 Qantas Points.

Please note that these points may take 24 to 48 hours to reflect in your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

I did put 21 litres in this morning and noticed now at POS it pops up " do you want (for my 21 litres) $1.05 fuel discount? "

I hit cancel and only got 21 points.
Think you might have to accept?

Anyway, I'm very happy with the above outcome.

Selfishly, that’s fine by me (and probably plenty of others here). Less peeps in lounges, less peeps vying for CRs, upgrades etc!

However, those coming across from VA would be crazy not to take the leg up while they can. Quite a few are quite easy earners but does require a bit of collateral spend in the QF eco-system.

I'm jumping ship from VA, so this is exactly what I plan to do.

No it won't, it is specifically excluded in the T&Cs:

Excludes Qantas Points earned with ALL - Accor Live Limitless.

I did wonder after staring at that exclusion if it could be worth a shot, given it doesn't specifically exclude points transferred from ALL, rather excluding those QFF points earned with ALL (which one might take as the points which show up after a stay for linked accounts). I have more ALL points than I'd care to mention, so am taking one for the team, have transferred the 2K ALL minimum, which converts to 2.5K QFF points, and will report back if it does anything.
