From today (21 October) until 30 October, Qantas Insurance is offering big points bonuses through The Qantas Insurance Points Blitz, including on travel insurance. My two-week trip is showing a 3,000-point bonus - but the issue is whether or not the points from a late December trip post before 31 Dec!

So you need to buy a policy of at least $100 (probably $101 to be sure) to get 1,500 sign-on points...
