From now you can earn miles-but notEQM,status bonus minimum miles-When you fly B6.B6 flights can also be booked through AA.com.
Seems a limited benefit at present but hopefully leads to more-even OW for B6?
American Airlines and JetBlue Airways Expand Relationship

It is also interesting that in this announcement AA are listing a new JFK-BUD service to start from April 2011.

I'm jumping in and giving Jet Blue a thumbs up. I flew them from Buffalo to DC (via NY) in June and they were great. My bag was a couple of pounds overweight so I offered to split it into a second bag but I was told not to worry and to stop buying souvenirs!

The one thing I didn't like was they don't unlock the recline on the seats in front of exit rows like Qantas do during the flight. But they were quick flights so it was no big deal.

I did like how the Captain comes out of the coughpit before the flight and chats away on the loud speaker. Plus free in flight snacks. My friend in the USA said they previously had a bad image so were doing all they could to change it.

As per a trip report I wrote up I thought Jet Blue were fine & extra space seats were good value.

It’s a shame they’re not likely to join 1W, with Lufthansa having a 19% stake in them, but considering all the other big US airlines have managed to merge into even bigger ones, AA and B6 merging could result in a good partnership, sort of like QF and JQ, and if B6 then enter 1W, JQ might also… sort of a premium alliance with discount airlines to backup the great premium offerings.
