Due to simpler and fairer will you drop status?

How many status tiers will you fall?

No change to myself which is great. Happy to continue to fly QF

Kinda need a don't yet know... Not that I have much in the way of status to lose, but still I'm not 100% sure what simpler and fairer will do...

I won't drop status but I don't have much choice.

The opposition sucks big time. And not just domestically.

Will keep WP but due to simpler and fairer have had to fly nearly twice the number of non-QF flights - thank you QF

Same here. I've only been able to forecast it based on previous years.
I've gotten to the Platinum extra options each year since 2010. Based on those trips, I'll get to Platinum, but won't reach the extra options.

No, won't drop, most likely remain WP + PG, worst case scenario WP. Actively chasing LTG and after that will be looking at pursuing LTP equivalent with BA assuming no such level introduced at QFF.

No huge change for me this year and next year (SG). Bit hard to predict beyond that. Have to say QF SG is quite valuable so I might not let it drop.

Yes. I will almost certainly drop from Qantas gold to silver next year. Which sucks, as I'm doing a heap of travel, and mostly on oneworld.

It doesn't help that my current RTW trip was a oneworld award, meaning no SCs earned on all the flights on that booking.

However, if it wasn't for the changes I would probably be able to requalify in spite of this. But with the changers in partner airline status credit earn, it's pretty hard to keep up. Since I'm not based in Australia for most of this year, I have limited opportunities to fly Qantas so I'm kind of forced to fly on partner airlines - for fewer SCs in many cases. There is no way to get on a QF numbered flight in Europe unless I fly to DXB or Australia.

I probably would have done a LAN run to AKL in J once I get back to Australia, but with the changes it's not worth it. I think I'll have little choice to drop down now, unless I spend $1000 + on an expensive SC run.

a rise in tier is in the plans for next review year. At least the fairer and simpler has brought about much generous earns for my routes :)

So, lucky you, the "enhancements" have given you more opportunities to earn QF FF points and SC.
Well, prior to the Jul 14 changes, I was going to make Loyalty Bonus Tier 1, ie, get 500 SCs in this year to get 8000 QF FF, but now, post Jul 14, when the earning of SC dropped, I lost my chance.
Beggars can't be choosers I guess, and I have to be satisfied in my "lot" which means just to make QF PS this one year.
Cry.

Will maintain P1 with 1.5 months to spare - but as most of my travel is domestic Y the changes are not that notable for me... well maybe except for poor old Adelaide now being 20SC rather than 30SC from SYD...

I will drop from P1 to an earned WP with QF, but I will rise from red to WP with VA to go double platinum. So a net two tier increase....

This has more to do with QF terminating all QFi flights from PER than the changes to the FF earn. QF status means nothing on JQ/3K and the EK J product (77W/77L) out of PER is the worst J product available to Europe (QR/CX/EY are all fully flat and SQ most of the way). All of QFi bonus promotions are on QFi metal also, which do not receive.

Have retained Status earned at Gold Level but would expect to have a soft fall to WP. So in theory two level drop. All due to the Changes QF have made to the programme and a dislike of transiting through DXB. :)

Yes that sucks, only 10SC for discount Y.
I do this route occasionally and hope I won't miss the loss of 5SC each time when re-qualifying for P1.

Still deciding....the changes have compelled me to start using points rather than $'s (when flying on partner airlines) ... probably a smart move at the end of the day for me and QFF.

I can't burn them quick enough! After toasting >2m QFFP earlier this year our tally is larger than when we started. We (x2) have Plat sorted for 2015/2016 and part of 2017 due to a few F/J MASA coming up next year......after that I'll reassess where the best flight path is for us.

Adelaide changes will probably stop me reaching WP this year. I have a more or less weekly commute for the 6 months of the year and those missing SCs will make all the difference.

Relocation means a significant change in flight options, routings etc. So I expect I will probably drop from WP to SG this qualifying year, and potentially down to PS the year after. Expect that my *A status will go up to compensate.
