Quite a random route. Anyone else think they've done this just so they can steal the "world's longest route" title from Qantas? (By 10 miles, as it happens.)
 
I wonder if they can get a codeshare going with CM - their network in Central/Latin/South America + Caribbean is mighty impressive.

My money is on a direct EK DXB-AKL flight taking over the top spot in the near future.
