Interested in hearing some thoughts on what is a safe minimum connection time in DXB. I've got a flight back to AU from Europe next week and the connection is 1h30.

Ive been through DXB over a dozen times, but this is by far the shortest, and I think the first leg will be a Tarmac disembark, followed by the bus to the terminal, then the Airtrain to the B gates. Oh and security screening too.

This sounds like it might get tight, particularly if there are air traffic delays. The connection is to EK414 - this is the one that scrapes into Sydney just before curfew so I don't imagine they'll hold it for late connections.

Is this cutting it fine?

It's a bit tight... but I would still go ahead and book it. If there is a problem you'll be looked after.

If your inbound flight is even slightly delayed, EK staff will probably meet you at the gate to escort you to the next flight. As the flight has to depart on time, I believe the ground staff do put a lot of effort into helping pax meet their connections to EK414.

If your inbound flight is very late, you'll probably be put on the next flight (and given a hotel if a long wait is necessary).
