That forecast looks ok. Just need to have 60 mins holding fuel.
I am flying up for work on Tuesday. I have never had my flight cancelled or delayed heading up unfortunately
It's land-able if you must, depending on the wind direction, but I definitely wouldn't want to be there.
You wouldn't be landing in the tempo period with 500m vis and the gusts. Easier to hold the 60 minutes of fuel. Runway 29 at Darwin has the ILS and favours the forecast wind, at least that is something.
Crosswind not a problem for what I fly in
Surely those two types can do say SYD - DRW and hold 60 minutes. Otherwise they would not be departing whenever there was a TEMPO or there was no suitable alternate.
I believe forecast above only requires 60 minutes holding or an alternate as the weather outside the TEMPO periods is not below alternate requirements.
YPTN also has a TEMPO at the moment
If you don't hear from me within six hours, please send NPPPs to Tindal, Alice Springs and Port Hedland.
And just to be sure, Bali!
