Double SC. Isn't about time for QF to send this out? (at least before Xmas)

I recall getting the Double SC promotion late last year (targeted international routes, HGK, LAX etc)

I need to plan for 2014

QF where the double SC offering this year?

For routes yes, they come in for everyone, for individuals they do it for different people at different times of the year.

It's a bonus gift not a right, I would just book your trips and if it comes through great.

If one has already booked the flights and then receives the offer, will the flights automatically be eligible for the double status credits? Or is cancelling and rebooking the way to go (considering the seats are still available)?

I think, and my memory has slightly faded on this, I don't think I have needed to re book, simply fly in the period specified.

If it is really important to you then you should check, I tend not to be worried by that sort of stuff.

That's my recollection too. They want new bookings, not to 'reward' bookings they have already.

I think it would be out soon, but if its the difference between missing a sale and getting the double SC's or getting a good price - which would you prefer?
