It shouldn't have an impact at all - I have had multiple flight changes and I still get the DSC.
Our DSC ‘delayed’ flight bookings are this weekend. Multiple flight changes but always same PNR. That’s the key.

Had mine posted last week for a booking made in March, travel in October. Was originally on QF metal all the way to Europe and back, but changed to QF codeshare on EK for the return. Not looking like I'll earn DSC's on the return legs with EK.

Qantas has changed my fight....wondering if there would be a drama with the DSC here.
Involuntary changes are not your fault and QF wouldn't have a leg to stand on denying DSC because of that (well at least if you're still flying QF they wouldn't). Users have changed flights and kept the same PNR and still got DSC though if it's not involuntary you'd have a harder time of getting things manually credited.
My anniversary is 31 Dec so the flight is very close to the end (and will re-qualify me for Gold).
Whilst the DSCs normally only take a few business days or so to post after the standard SCs, if the SCs don't come through automatically for whatever reason the T&Cs do indicate that it could take up to 6 weeks. The DSCs will apply to the year in which you flew. So worst case you have to ring up 6 weeks after you fly, get the DSCs credited (do keep your boarding passes till your DSC shows on your Activity Statement) and then your status would automatically be updated.

Nope. Worst case is that you are travelling in those 6 weeks without correct status.

If it was involuntary and they didn't provide you with reasonable alternatives to fly QF you could try to ask for DSCs as an Original Routing Credit after the standard SCs post and you've waited the 6 weeks. They may say no, but it's not your fault if they move you onto a partner airline's flight when that's not what you booked. You chose to fly QF and the promised DSC was a factor in your decision to fly QANTAS. If they still won't budge you could try the Airline Customer Advocate and see if that gets you anywhere. Worth a try.

If you changed it voluntarily then that's a different matter. Any voluntary changes would according to the rules make you ineligible for DSC. Whether that's how it works in practice is a different matter.

It was my own decision to return the night before than the next morning! so all my fault. But was glad that the changes meant the original booking date was retained. I also didn't need the DSC's to move upto WP so was all good.

Has anyone had any issues with DSCs from this offer taking a really long time to post, in particular those generated from the select list of Trans-Tasman QF code/EK metal flights?

All of my others have posted within a handful of days, however I am waiting on some from EK flights taken almost two weeks ago now.

I know they say they can take up to six weeks to post, so I'm happy to wait. Just wondered whether others have experienced similar lead times.

From my experience my partners DSC on EK posted quickly but mine took longer. I think I ended up calling.

I thought I would try my luck and called this morning on my way to work. The lady who answered in the Frequent Flyer Priority Premium etc etc Centre was probably the most useless CSA to whom I've ever spoken. I'll give it a bit longer and see before getting in touch again, especially given magic vouchers are in play here.

There are a few aren’t there. And some are brilliant! luck of the draw.

And DSC’s for the flight over have just posted - three days after the flight. A ‘delayed’ booking. MrP now about to retain WP 6 months ahead of schedule. I’ll be there a couple of days after we return on Saturday.

My delayed booking flown in August never posted - emailed service center twice who knocked back the DSC. they quoted the flight booking date versus the original purchase date within the March promotion dates :(

Its an awkward one to argue but all of our delayed bookings posted three days after flights, just a couple of weeks ago. If you are certain the PNR was generated during the promo and (if you needed to register) and your flights were in the approved band then call them up.

Not quite the same but recently i had flights booked as Saver fares though for some odd reasons booked into Sale fare discount economy fare class.

Took 3 calls 2 rejections and an email before it got sorted by a competent operator.
Result in a points and SC adjustment for the difference.

It may have been asked prior, however do you earn the DSC on the QF flights to/from NZ operated by Jetconnect.

Jetconnect is considered Qantas for the purpose of DSC, so yes, you do earn.

Anyone know how long it takes for the DSC from QF-Jetconnect flights to be credited? I flew MEL-SYD-CHC last week and I received the DSC for the domestic leg 2 days later, but still waiting on the SYD-CHC flight.

Mine took 4 days for DSC to land for same route back in September.

Thanks! I'll take that your answer is either very accurate or very sarcastic:D

Just based on experience. QF tend to process the DSC's around the 0000 GMT time, but they can take a few hours to come through, and a 3 or 4 day time from when the flights post (sometimes can be 2, it just depends on when the flights post as I think their batch processing does a specific date range).

amyway not sarcastic, or intended to be.
