Seems to have been a very select group being offered the new 50% offer - or AFF members have been under-represented . I'd better think about using both of my vouchers I bought in the DSC period for my next couple of trips (PER and MEL)

Well clearly they KWIA! Have both offers in play currently.

I already have a standard credit booking that will get the remaining credits I need to retain WP so maybe the computer didn't feel a bonus SC offer was going to influence my flying decisions (at least not for flights before my membership year ends).

humble suggestion in the interests of clarity of this year's DSC offer... might discussion of any targeted DSC offers go to another thread (there is another one regarding such things)? That way issues with posting etc won't get confused in this thread as to which bonus SC offer is being discussed :)

thank you

Just another data point.

Flew MEL-SYD & SYD-DPS on 8 June in J, DSC (from the March promotion) hit on 13 June.

Another couple of data points:

Flew SYD-SIN on 8 Jun, normal SC posted on the same day and DSC posted 13 Jun.

Flew SIN-SYD on 12 Jun, normal SC posted 13 Jun and DSC posted 19 Jun.

Flew SYD-MEL on 16 Jun, normal SC posted 17 Jun DSC not yet posted. Expected it to post tomorrow as part of the 'normal' DSC sweep/run.

I have to make a change to my booking, got to return in the morning not the evening now. Anyone know if this will make my DSC ineligible ?

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

So long as the PNR remains the same you *should* be fine but if it doesn't credit automatically you may struggle to get QF to manually credit.

I had to make two changes to my most recent double SC booking and was a bit worried it might affect the posting. Everything went through as generally reported here, normal SC posted on same day as flight and bonus SC a couple of days later.

It may have been asked prior, however do you earn the DSC on the QF flights to/from NZ operated by Jetconnect.

Jetconnect is considered Qantas for the purpose of DSC, so yes, you do earn.

I just had a 50% bonus SC email come through.

Regarding previous double SC offer, they took about 4 days to come through and I got double SC even after making a same day change to one of the flights.

So,

Due to the wings falling off my MEL -Hobart flight a while ago I got shunted onto Jetstar. I had to call and ask for an Original Routing Credit for the flight as it posted to my activity statement as a Jetstar flight with 0 SC. The ORC claim went through smoothly and I was told I had to wait 6 weeks for the DSC to post. Called them last night after my six week wait and was told I have to wait until Feb 19 to chase them.

Am I being lied to?

Remind them it's Bastille day .... not April Fools!

So, HUACA got me an immediate result. It really is a coughshoot dealing with phone support these days and not just with QF.

As should have been the outcome after the first call. Quite a waste of time for both parties and some training required for the first CS person
