Calling all ?ONE? experts!

In September I am starting another DONE4 with Marge and Maggie. I think the rules have changed since my last trip. From what I understand, you are still permitted two stopovers in the country of origin, either at the start or the end, however you can no longer continue travelling once you return to your departure port (SYD in my case). Is that correct?

I ask because I need to fly SYD-CNS in early August. Instead of paying for J class (or using points to upgrade K class) from SYD-CNS I was thinking of buying three cheap tickets from SYD-BNE and then scheduling BNE-CNS-(stop)-SYD-(stop) at the beginning of my DONE4, before continuing on to JFK in September.

Am I breaking any rules here?

That is correct, you can no longer pass through point of origin.

Looks fine to me. :)

That should be fine.
I just booked an LONE4 ex MEL, and wanted to get in a weekend in Perth, so started the trip ADL-PER-MEL-NRT, and have booked a single flight MEL-ADL to begin.
It was ticketed with no problems (related to that, anyway :-|)

Thank you to everyone who replied. I'll cross my fingers now and try to get this thing ticketed.... :)

I am doing something similar in September. syd-lax-dfw-sat-dfw-jfk-hkg-akl-mel-adl-per-syd
