I've just booked my first DONE4 - a simple thing since I'm not chasing points or SC's. As a devout coward I've booked it through an agent (that should please Travel Guru ;)).

When I look at the booking on QF, two sectors are missing. These are YVR - JFK with CX and LGA - DFW with AA. Other flights with those carriers appear as they should. Any idea why those two are missing? The agent assures me that they are booked.

Also, I note the other CX leg is marked "Economy (D)" and the other AA leg is shown as "Economy (A)". Is that the way they usually appear on a DONE4?

I have no doubt these questions have been answered before but an assiduous search has failed to find the entries. What a shame the forum software doesn't search for a string. Or does it?

Quite common - the carriers (particularly AA and CX) use different GDSs (the software provider who does the ticketing)

I believe that QFs program (Amadeus) can record connecting flights to QF/BA for example but won't record the in between flights.
For my last DONE don't think any of my AA flights (6) appeared.

This is indeed a common anomaly with at least these 2 carriers. BA and QF flights booked into D and A show up properly as Business and First respectively on the QF website.

Don't worry - you will be booked into the right cabin. However, on my previous AONE4's, I have had to submit a claim to QFF as my AA flights have credited as Full Economy rather than first class, which is simple matter on the QF website. CX sectors have always posted correctly, though.

Thanks aubs. I remain puzzled as to why that doesn't apply to all CX and AA flights for this booking - just the two mentioned.
