Definately 4 regions. I think it has counted Asia twice due to the routing order. THe routing LHR-SIN-MEL must be <24 hours in SIN for the routing to be legal.

Thanks for that. Yes the LHR MEL will be <24hours so no problems there.

Is there a tool online that will work out the QF SC's?

I use a (big) spreadsheet that has the earning tables set up plus routing mileage lookup. But that isnt online. If you want me to email it to you let me know.

Well, you could always ask nicely...

You would work it out for me? Sweet. Thanks for that :)

I like being a "self help" person as I know I will be making some changes and I like to know how it is all done.

YOu know the story, Feed a man a fish.......Teach a man to fish.....

Here is an alpha of my DONE4 for next year. For some reason it claims I am travelling through 5 continents. Can anyone see my error, or is it an error in the system (glitch in the matrix)?...
TIP is in Africa; that's your 5th continent:
Code:
cmb-hkg-jfk-mia-mco-dfw-anc-dfw-lax-lhr-dxb-lhr-tip-lhr-sin-mel-akl-bne-per-hkg-cmb
Also, the "MilageMonkey (0.95)" oneWORLD xONEx Validator is giving an error:
Rule violated!!!! [TIP-LHR] Max 1 segment(s): Ghana/Nigeria transit
That's because if you travel from EUR to Africa you can only reenter EUR if one of the routings is a transit using Ghana/Nigeria (or vice-versa).

Ah yes, while most north african countries are treated as part of europe for xONEx purposes, Libya isnt.

Ah yes, looks like we all fell for the TIP is Europe trap.

At least now you can add TIP to your trip by using a QF FF award booked on-line ;).

yes we TrIPped up on that trick

still it is a TIP not easily forgotten now
Looks like it past Beer O'Clock in the far eastern states. Someone been tippling a little this afternoon?

72,000 points return to LHR in J. Doesnt seem like many other oneworld flights in/out of TIP...

Yep, that's the way. Its 1470 miles so zone 3 means 18,000 one way in Y, which translates to 72,000 return in J. Travel is with BA.

TIP can be got to quite cheaply

instead of flying LHR-TIP and entering a new continent ( which I am surprised about, I would have thought it was in Europe for ONE puposes, but checking it out , that does seem to be the case ), fly LGW-MLA and then buy a ticket for the 233 miles from MLA-TIP. The fare on KM (Air Malta) is pretty reasonable and is a decent airline
