In November (yes, I know... some time away; but I like to be organised!) I will be doing PER-MEL-SIN-FRA then LHR-SIN-PER.
My PER-MEL connection is 2.5 hours, so should be fine. Am I correct to assume that when I check in at PER, I cannot use my priority checkin by going to the QP queue, but instead would need to goto the International Transfers checkin desk? (As per website Fly - At the Airport - Airport Guide - Perth Domestic Airport - which states "Domestic to International check-in available at counters 16 and 17."). I wonder how long the line might be.... Would my bags be checked through all the way to FRA or would I need to collect in MEL and then drop them off at the QF checkin?
When I arrive in Melbourne, I assume I should already have my boarding pass and can simply walk over to T2, go through passport control and head over to the Business Lounge (I am a QP member).
Am I then likely to need to get *another* boarding pass in SIN for my SIN-FRA, or would I get this also in PER (or MEL)?
On my trip home, I have a 1 hour transit in SIN (LHR-SIN-PER). Am I likely to get both boarding passes in LHR, and when I get to SIN is there anywhere special I'd need to go; or should it have the gate etc. all on my boarding pass? I booked this all on 1 ticket, so 1 hour was fine for MCT. If my inbound is delayed, are they likely to hold the plane for me or would I get put on the next flight (which is some hours later).
There was something else I meant to ask but can't think of what it is right now.....
