Hi,

Have a work conference/holiday coming up in the US, and I need to do a few internal flights (LAX-LAS-ABQ-LAX) and noticed that AA First is less than double the price of economy !?! Firstly is it normally that cheap? And what status credits will I get as a QFF WP? The distance for many of these flights is 300-400 miles, so I assumed that the cheap economy seats would be 10 SCs, oh and the booking class for the First flights is 'P'.

F in the USA is a great way to get status credits, but don't expect that much from it. I found the FAs pleasant and the seats are fine. No food on flights less than ? - 2 hours I think. You get priority access and boarding, but not even lounge access domestically unless you have status or paid membership, which you do. Most of the people travelling F seem to be upgrades.
