DOM to INT - passport for domestic sector?

Hi all,

Easy one I hope

Sister & husband flying from HVB to connect with QF1

They're on 3 PNRs, both QF to SYD, then QF to DXB and the other EK codeshare ( hey , it was cheaper! )

Anyway I am on a different PNR again ( you know why! ) and I will have their passports here in SYD.

Can they check in all the way from HVB on mixed PNRs and without their passports? Obviously I'll check them in with me at the F desk at SYD to show the passports there.

They won't be able to access SYD T1 airside without their passports, however OLCI is possible.

Unless the bookings are linked no-one is going to worry about passports for the domestic sectors.

Sorry I wasn't as clear as I should have been.

I was thinking of them checking their bags straight through to DXB then showing their passports at the F checkin landside with me.

To so check luggage through past DXB a passport is generally required.

I don't like your chances.

No problems in SYD however with PP available ...

I fear that may be in the 'too hard basket' for a regional port.

If the checkin agent hasn't got all your passport details they won't be able to complete the checkin process & issue boarding passes.

Can you scan a copy of both passports & email them this so they can take with them to the airport.

If any APP fields need to be completed the CSA could get the correct info off the photocopy & manually enter them into Altea.

I can understand though that the scenario of three separate pnrs coupled with no passports on them might be a bit too much of an 'out there' request o process so I'd be planning on picking up the bags in SYD.
