Doggy style ;/ [Support Animal in Cabin]

I've seen it in the USA, with a German Shepherd-sized mutt in the cabin, part in the footwell and part in the walkway, and not secured to anything. Ridiculously dangerous, if you ask me. Even on a normal flight, we're having to take the owner's word for the docility and controllability of the animal, and if there's an emergency, you end up with a seriously pi$$ed-off / scared 50 lb object with teeth flying round in the cabin.....

Wondered how long this would take to come up. Read about 'prescription shopping' for service animals, or emotional support animals. What a load of cough, is all I can say. (And I completely support seeing eye dogs etc)

I would tend to agree but there probably are some cases where an emotional support dog is of benefit. The real question is whether you penalise everyone simply because some (or even the majority) abuse the system.

There was a thread on flyertalk about this, and how a dog ended up with diarrhea in the cabin.
