Hi All

I am doing a JASA to PER late July. I've booked 3/4 of the trip. I'm currently out of points to book the BNE-PER link.

I am owed enough points from family member (I booked an upgrade for both us with just my points)

Dilemma is, they can't transfer points to me till Wednesday - and the flight is showing "5 or less"

Last thing I want to do is, this trip in Y ;-)

Will it make a diff if I just login to their FF account and book the ticket for me, and list me as the passenger with my FF #. Shouldn't affect SC or points, right?

Or, risk it and wait till Wednesday :P

Advice welcome :-)

Well, really, your Family member should really be the one to do that. However, if they are happy to assist in that manner it should be fine.

If your FF account status was higher than your family member, then theoretically you would see more inventory for award availability - or vice versa.

So, potentially, if you were Gold and your family member was bronze status, then they may not see the award seats you could.

I'm sure you'll be fine though. As a good rule to live by, nobody of importance flys from Brisbane to Perth.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm tempted to just wait until tomorrow - then it's all in one place.
