Does an updated partner flight time require a reticket?

Hi all,

I have a Qantas booking on BA LHR to SYD later this year. I've received:
  • Emails from Qantas about a different PNR where I'm flying SYD to LHR, with notification of the change in flight time, and then another email with the new e-ticket (which has new ticket numbers)
  • Notification from check my trip, that my LHR to SYD PNR has also had a time change
On manage my booking for LHR to SYD, it says "Your flight booking may have been disrupted. Accept, change or cancel your new flight arrangements if these options are offered." There is however, no 'accept' button available (not even a greyed out one).

I've called Qantas and ended up with Cape Town. I've explained the background and they've just sent me through the email version of the ticket (the one direct from Amadeus), which doesn't appear to have created a new ticket number.

When I look at my manage my booking, the same quote as above, still shows.

Should I be doing anything further, or leaving this as is? The flight time notification came through last week. To put this into context, the flight time is only different by 15 minutes (and I was surprised I received a new e-ticket for one of my PNR's to be honest).

Appreciate your time and thoughts. Thanks.

If check my trip is showing a ticket number next to the new flight time I’d leave it

Is it a new flight number, or same flight number just a different scheduled time?

It's the same flight number and a slightly different scheduled time.

I have a family member under a different PNR who received an updated ticket for this flight after hitting accept. Their updated ticket includes a new ticket number.

Other thought is to try to accept via the BA website
You’d probably get someone at Qantas call centre to fix it eventually but it’s so much hassle

I was able to get hold of someone else at Qantas. They are going to manually accept the change and have placed it into the ticketing queue. Will see what happens!

For BA it's not necessary to reissue or revalidate the ticket for a small time change.
Thank you. After my call with Qantas, no new ticket has come through at all (from a week or so ago when I first called).

Given your knowledge, I'm working on the assumption I should leave the ticket as is, and ignore the 'time updated' alert when I view the booking (as I am still well within the MCT's)?
