I think I have read the T's and C's a couple of times and now i have a headache.

I have the status credits to get Silver by 31-Aug but have only flown 2 QF segments for the year so I need 2 more.

Can someone confirm that aside from a paid booking; do Any Seat Rewards bookings (under QF banner) count as a flight with respect to getting a status or retaining it? I am certain Classic Rewards do not but it looks like a return flight using Any Seat Reward would get me the Silver.

You must fly a minimum four eligible flight segments on Qantas, QantasLink or Jetstar and earn the required status credits to retain/attain during your membership Year"
