Dob in a dragon!

What some dragons may not realise is that some people may want to use one status for entry and another for crediting miles which is not disallowed under oneworld rules - in that example, a quick change of FF # (and subsequent change back) would be all that is needed. Haven't seen the thread, but if the OP didn't ask to change the numbers there and then, they only have themselves to blame.

I think it gets more complicated when the lounge operator (QF in this example) is different to the airline that is being travelled on/issued BP (in this example BA), further complicated by status with a third airline (CX). But at SIN, it's not too difficult as BA is just down the corridor, and the traveller was granted access there anyway.

Which one?

I haven't experienced a lounge dragon for ages. they even let me use a free Qantas club pass for a guest when flying on MH.

Nor I. Worst experience (which wasn't too bad) was when I used a former US Air Lounge which had only just been rebranded Admirals Club, in Phoenix. Lounge person looked blankly at my QF plat/OW Emerald card and took a small while to go through her cheat sheets and said 'OK'.

(And look at that ... a thread, about to be terminated ... terminated with extreme prejudice# ... tomorrow, is thrown a lifeline :). Nice one!)

The last dragon I robbed in was a VA check in dragon who tried to make me pay for luggage on a AMEX comp flight (before VA had luggage free). Super rude, obnoxious and had a personal complaint filed against her by name.

Previous to that I had quite a serious one which several forum members know about, basically I heard a Gaggle of VA hoagies talking very inappropriately in the galley, loud enough that kids could hear. VA handled that one well, I know for a fact that at least one no longer has a job!
