Do QF Classic Award redemptions on EK metal appear on EK MMB or QF MMB ?

Reason I ask is because I want to MMB on the EK website so I can apply for a UAE visa for my wife (not an Aussie citizen but a citizen of a country by which Emirates will organise your visa for you online).

You can apply for your UAE visa through our Manage a Booking tool after booking your Emirates flight.
http://www.emirates.com/au/english/plan_book/essential_information/visa_passport_information/uae_visas.aspx

So the last thing I want to happen is book these flights on EK metal (EK405 and 406) only for the MMB function to be on the QF website.
QF405 has a disgusting arrival time of 0450 as opposed to a much kinder 23:30 of QF9 so if I didn't need the visa feature I would def by flying QF. Especially as the way up we are flying Y lol negligible differences between airlines in Y IMO.

So yeh can anyone confirm that Classic Award redemptions made using QF flight on EK metal can be managed through the EK website ?

Cheers

Call EK armed with your flight details and ask for it.

ISTR that putting your QF booking PNR into the EK website might bring up your flight details and, perhaps, show your EK booking reference but can't be certain.

Not sure about a classic award, but for my last revenue fare I just put the QF 6 character reference into the EK website and all the details pulled up there.

Can't see why it would be different on an award fare.

Yeh all good.

I made the classic award booking last night and almost immediately I was able to pull up the booking on the EK MMB and I've already began the visa process and can see the links to book chauffeur drive etc.

Booking also appeared on the QF MMB but unable to book chauffeur etc

But yeh it's all good everything worked out. Flying up in whY back on F on the 388. First ever F flight so pretty excited !! Actually will be the second I have a QF F flight booked before the EK one.

The EK F lounge at DXB must be not too shabby ?

there are three EK F lounges in DXB :)

If you have a lot of time there it is worthy of exploration. Have a great trip

I will be leaving from terminal 3. I'll aim to arrive at say 7am for a 10:10am departure so may get say 2-2.5 hours to explore.

Which of the three lounges are best and easiest to get to ? I thought the F lounge was a whole floor ?

PM sent. The flagship lounge is the one you want. But the others are worthy of a visit if you have the urge to wander

And what an epic PM it was. Cheers mate.
Yeh will def go for the flagship,

Getting off topic now but what seats are best for a couple on an EK 388 ?
Any middle pair ?
Though I heard the center pair is not really designed for couples the way the EY ones are ?

Thanks
