Do linear dimensions matter for checked luggage when flying to Europe in business?

I have a large suitcase just over 82cm and I know in terms of linear dimensions, it’s approx 170cm. I’ve booked a Singapore Air flight between Syd and Europe in business class and there are some linear restrictions mentioned as a footnote on my ticket but that only seems to apply to flights to/from the US. As long as I’ll be under the weight limit, am I correct that Singapore Air doesn’t police the dimensions of checked baggage between Aus and Europe?

My question is around checked baggage, not cabin baggage. This is where the policy is explained: Checked Baggage | Singapore Airlines

I believe the below only applies to the US (piece concept) but it’s not 100% clear:

“The sum of length, width and height of each checked baggage must not exceed 158cm (62 inches).”
