Having just gone out and purchased a new laptop, I've found myself trying to configure it all afternoon and find where the mongrels have hidden everything. What is it with computer geeks? Why go and move things around just so you can say they've been "updated"?
Not to mention, I bought it so I could do some CAD work whist away and go to load my 2010 ACAD version and it says it won't work on this operating system (or something). Then I go to configure Outlook to my emails and find the "Outlook" is not Outlook at all but something called Outlook.com which appears to be an amalgamation of Outlook Express and Live.............Well I'm annoyed. The programs I wanted the most and no go! I'm thinking of loading my old Outlook 2003 and see if that works. Oh and for some reason the @ button when pressed gives " and vice versa
. I think that might be the language settings even though I selected EN AU.
Oh to have XP back again!
(Just sorted the @ and ".........had to set it to EN AU with US keyboard......)
