Hi all.
We are travelling MEL/LAX/MCO/TPA/LAX/MEL in economy next month and the international legs are on VA aircraft but with DL flight numbers. When selecting our seats online, I was able to select PE, 12A & C and 13 A & C on the international legs.
When checking my details online at DL it says that these are requested. When I do a dummy booking online and go to choose seats, only 12A and 13C are available to select.
My questions are: Why was I permitted to select seats 12A/C and 13A/C in PE when I only purchased economy? Should I not risk it by waiting to see what happens at check in but reselect my seats in economy while our preferred seats are available? (I know the answer already.)
