Agree it is a lot flying but I did not think OWA had capped segments, just stop overs, miles and transit points. I may be wrong. There are options then bne- syd-hkg-doh-xx_ but that is just too long for me and chews up segments if using a OWA.

This is an example of a Sponsored Post, one of the many ways you can advertise on the Australian Frequent Flyer.
Other options include banner advertisements on our content and forum pages or our newsletter. You can also purchase an audio message on our podcast - or if you just want to try it out, you can sponsor a thread.
If you'd prefer not to see any advertisements (including these sponsored posts), you can become an AFF Supporter from just $6 and instantly remove all advertisements from our website!
Although, each airline will decide on how many seats in a particular class that it will make available to other oneworld partners.Still no fix in site. AA showing multiple seats, Qantas only the 1.
G'dayIn the past the amount of seats via Qantas matched those via AA. Recently that has not been the case. Agreed it could just be Qatar playing favorites, hopefully not.
I suspect that QF is responsible for not offering available QR J award seats.Wondering if anyone on AFF has a contact within QR's local office (or any office).
Would be good to understand what is behind their bizarre policy restricting QFF members to at most 1 J award seat on QR out of Australia and whether it's ever going to change.
Don't understand why they want to limit access to a product they're obviously proud of.
That’s interesting - what benefit would it be to QF to do so?I suspect that QF is responsible for not offering available QR J award seats.
