Hi all,

I'm heading over in a few weeks for the US Open golf at Merion (June 10-16).

Here's the plan:

5 or 6 June: BNE - MEL - SYD - DFW (Y, all on same day hopefully)
9 June: DFW - PHL
17 June: PHL - DFW
20 June: DFW - LAX

I'll almost certainly be flying Y out of LAX to MEL on 20 June on QF94 which departs at 2330 (I think).

So I was thinking of spending the day on 20 June chasing SC's between DFW and LAX. It would be great to include the DFW - PHL - DFW bits as well.

I'm yet to book the AUS-USA flights, but have a pretty good idea about that part, so advice on potential alternatives there would be much appreciated too.

Many thanks

Happy Dude

DFW being a hub makes it tough for cheap "instant Upgrade" fares.

How long do you have to get between DFW and PHL?

Thanks for the reply serfty. My plans have changed and I won't have time to chase SCs. Please close.

Out of interest, which cities are good places to use as a hub for the cheap upgrade fares? And are there cities best to exclude from an intinerary?

EDIT: no need to reply serfty, found the answers in another thread.
