How would I get sore knees, if according to you recline does not impact a tall person?
Looks like you contradicted yourself a little there while trying in vain to support your flawed argument.

Anybody can SAY they are tall on an internet forum to try and push home their point, I have a feeling there is some of that going on in this thread, in fact I know there is LOL. One guys said he was 195cm and not affected. bwahahaa. People will do anything to try and justify inconsiderate behavior, makes me laugh.

Others in here have met me they can attest to the 6'2" not being an exaggeration. Yep, my knees don't get hit, 99% of the time, when the recline occurs. I was assuming that extending your knees into my back was a part of your childish coughnal of tactics you'd employ. Hence, you'd end up with sore knees if you sat behind me whilst I'd end up receiving a vigorous lower back massage.

I think you know the answer to this question you have asked. Read the last few pages of the thread to catch up if you don't.

Aint that the truth.

LOL. Your concerned? That's touching. :D Are you concerned if you crush someones knees while reclining and cause them to have a painful and or uncomfortable flight?

 Cue the "I am tall and it doesn't effect me" comments now that your psycho babble has been dispelled. :D

Well at least you would be willing to compromise, kudo's to you for that. Your attitude is far more practicable and reasonable than many here who toot their trumpet saying how it is a feature and therefore they will use it regardless.

Happy New Year :)

I'm concerned that you're a brute who would willing 'go animal' on someone exercising the right that they paid for. Tell me, are you someone who wears fluro in a Business Lounge? #Sarcasm

Wow - let's not get started on the fluoro brigade again. Bad behaviour whilst flying is not the sole domain of FIFO workers. Weren't there comments made recently on the behaviour of a high up individual whilst flying virgin only recently?

T:D
Just arrived in Adelaide to make WP my cut off day was today so a worthwhile trip. Mrs S is looking forward to the spa treatment at the First lounge next year when we go o/s even if it might be in Y. Limber her up before she gets reclined on by the pax in front and abused by the person behind if she tries to recline. !!!!!!:D:D

Eww yuck.

The spa is throughly over rated the treatments aren't fantastic and it is much more worthwhile to organize a private therapist outside of the International Terminal :/

I forgot to add my #Sarcasm at the end. Will edit now. My gosh class warfare is not something I want to ring in the New Year with.

Well, I'm certainly not re-reading the last few pages of this thread, much of it was painful enough to read the first time. But here's what would happen.

Following meal service, I slowly recline my seat.

Pax behind me throws a childish tantrum and begins some childish behaviour in retaliation. (Mal, fill me in with your preferred method of retaliation at this point)

I turn around and calmly ask pax behind me to stop whatever it is he or she is doing.

At this point either pax behind me either complies with my request, or I involve cabin crew - either way, childish behaviour of pax behind me stops.

I continue to recline, availing myself of a seat feature that is advertised by the airline.

This is similar to what I do. Sometimes a little recline is enough for me to get comfortable and then end up not reclining any further.

However if I was the OP and and asked the pax behind. I would have said "Ok I am allowed to recline, however I will give you 20 minutes to finish your work and then I am reclining"

I'm impressed ... that is such a good solution to what has happened to the OP here.

EH

Ahhhh so thats the position one has to be in to have their knees crushed, or is that the payback position that makes it easier to jostle the seat in front?:D

You mean the position just before the cabin crew strap his limbs together with plastic tethers so he can't move for the entire flight?

OT Badger, your avatar is so annoying, every time I see it I try to squash the bug on my screen ;)
