Not yet, still in box like everything else I bought.

We went to Bing Lee yesterday to make final decisions on appliances but not ordered yet as we get more points via online. Inc new blender for Mr Denali

Shutters are fabulous. So easy to control light, heat and cold. And look very special in bathrooms with a tub like that.

Hubby actually isnt a fan but agreed the bathrooms needed shutters. They will also be split so upper half and lower half can be opened differently when closed

Yes we've done the split thing and it works very well.

Appliances installed!

The tradies also broke down and hid the boxes under rubble as I've read about appliances being stolen so Mr Denali on camera alert watch

We went with a 90cm induction cooktop and a duo oven. Apparently the oven is also a airfryer. All electric as we have panels and batteries and no gas.

At the rear, at some point, Im going to put a row or artificial plants although Mr Denali wants to have the fence painted as well

Apparently the oven is also a airfryer

An airfyer is basically a convection oven with rapid hot air movement.

Generally for efficiency, they are of small volume; I presume it's more marketing putting what is effectively a "rapid hot air" setting into a standard convection oven.

Snoopy snoops early this morning.... haven't had random snoops other than the regular neighbour snoops for a while.

This one was looking in between the colorbond fence and temp fence gap for a while but we hit the lights and mic and said, "Can we help you?" and he walked away. Mr Denali said we should hit the siren button.



And tonight there'll be a garage fitout update as the guys are here already

Garage fitout complete. In hindsight I would have made the work bench bigger (it's 2.4mtrs) but we can add a 900 x 2mtr cupboard to the space on the left later on.

The two guys that showed up reminded us of the old school tradie, was here all day and it looks good.

This is the $10K garage, first quote we got was $30K

But its a good point. I am also pondering adding a custom made insulating blanket that fits over my electric storage. Im not sure it will make any difference so Ive ordered a Milwaukee temp gun to see where all my cold/hot spots are.
