I'd be willing to wager that all of the frequent flyers on here would not be able to stick with one brand/ airline.
Sure a strong preference but based on routing/ hotel location, or ocassionally price they will shift

Pretty hard to imagine anyone being able to stick to one airline. Even staying within an alliance can be difficult.

Given that all my travel is self funded, there is definitely a limit to how far my loyalty will go.

It's a US centric survey.

Of course in the USA, transport & accommodation is relatively cheap giving the frequent travel punter plenty of choices.

That provides the ability to have status in more than one scheme without as much expense as may be imagined by an antipodean resident.

I would be a buyer of the first manufacturing run of a pocket vibrating Weird-O-Meter. I have dreamed about this product coming available but never seen it advertised.
Loyalty went the way of the Dodo when the choices became visible with the the Internet.

Weird? My Mum always says I was Special, and during my schooling years I attended mostly remedial classes for Special Students. My current probation officer says I'm a delight, and the lepricorn that sits on my shoulder and tells me to burn things reckons I'm a Woos!. I'd say I'm more 'Gifted' rather than weird

Escaping early from a court organized Anger Management class would be a small sign of where my pocket device could detect a small chance of trouble brewing with a fellow passenger.

I tried to break away from Qantas by booking through Emirates to Europe, in about August last year. I'd no sooner paid the credit card for that booking and then the Qantas-Emirates tie up was announced. So I think that Qantas are having issues in letting me go! :)
