That is very disturbing.

It is sad that the crew did not check the rest rooms prior to descent!

Actually, I bet the crew did - but thought another staffer had already locked the toilet. There is no difference that I am aware of with the locks to show that it has been locked internally or externally.

The crew perhaps knocked and had no reply.
