Well the world may be coming to an end but that doesn’t mean that credit card sign up bonuses have to as well! Presenting…..
The David Jones AMEX Platinum Card – brought to you by my very own referral link:
DJs AMEX Platinum - Referral Link
Sign up by 8 April for an excellent 60,000 Amex MR point bonus (I will receive a 40,000 point referral bonus)!
This card offers a sign-on bonus even for existing American Express cardholders (as long as you haven't held a David Jones card within the last 18 months) so if you’re waiting out the usual 18 month exclusion period this will be one worth jumping on!
If you spend $1,500 outside of David Jones within the first three months you receive 60,000 reward points. Usually this card seems to offer 30,000 or 40,000 so this is up there with as good as it gets.
The earn rate on the card is as follows:
Points can be transferred to a variety of airline or hotel partners which makes the points currency very flexible. I've found AMEX points an excellent way to build a Marriot Bonvoy point balance where otherwise it would be very hard to do. Transfer rates can be found HERE
Annual fee comes in at $295 which I’ve been able to easily offset using the many AMEX statement credit offers that come up. Add a few free supplementary cards to further take advantage of these offers and maybe even score an additional bonus for doing so.
Other key benefits of the card are:
As always, any use of my referral link is very much appreciated. The 40,000 points I will receive with be put to very good use.
