I wouldn't mind coming too :D I like that going to Hobart gives me a reason to do a MEL-(CBA)-HBA-(CBA)-MEL run. Not that you ever *need* a reason for a SC run of course... ;)

I will come too, would be funny. Just don't get on the same flight as me on the way there or back. ;)

Why would it be funny?

All are welcome to attend, it's about community, not Qantas or Virgin ;)

I'd like to have WP in the bag by then, but if not, I'm sure that'd secure it.

Depending on the dates I would be happy to share a Flounge run on the trip down. :D

I don't care for any date but Bathurst weekend... That's non-negotiable.

Im keen for an Flounge run, even if I'm already in HBA, I'm happy to go through the process on the way home of I have to!

Fwiw, if you had a choice for golf, I'd choose Claremont. You won't have tours of Cadbury as such, but there's Mona near by, and the city isn't too far away either.

if anyone has any questions, I'm happy to help out. I'm not too sure I'll be able to help out much with the organizing as I've got a pretty hectic work schedule, but I can provide info where needed.

Looks like the 29th Nov to 1 Dec is in the the lead.

Flounge run is always fun with a group.

Don't want to blow my own trumpet but....

I work as the Concierge at Wrest Point Casino in Hobart so I can help you guys out with suggestions or maybe things to avoid...

lets be honest - Wrest Point for accomm is going through an "enhancement" so wait and see for other hotel options. Henry Jones is brilliant.

Golf - I'm a member at Royal Hobart and my sister works at Tasmania GC so can explore options. Claremont is a good muck around course, great views too. Barnbougle is a bit of a hike - probably means a overnight in Bridport or Launceston.

cadbury - no good.. No more tours within the factory - plus it was hot and loud in there anyway.

MONA.. A Must!!! Ferry, wine, moo brew and the poo machine!!

Cricket - the travelling English team play Australia A between 6-9 of November at bellerive. Probably the most accessible to watch cricket and probably mix with the players down on the waterfront each night.

Any questions - shoot!!

When does the poll close? Would be good to start hunting for good fares :)

Might have to do a JASA from CBR... and plan how I get there accordingly (via every city with an F lounge I think).

Hope we can see you at some of the events in that case, whatever ends up being organised ;)

Maybe we need a snap poll after this one finishes to decide the winner. Seeing that in true Aussie tradition no-one (I mean no date) has more than 50% of the vote.

I vote that in true Aussie political style, we just take first across the line even if it doesn't have 50% of the vote.

The longer we wait to pick a date, the less time we have to find good deals on airfares and accommodation ...
