Unfortunately I am out (barring last minute emergencies) - I will likely be up the week after.

That's a shame.

The week after doesn't look so good for me otherwise I'd sugest we catch up. Sorry.

No stress, I think I will have at least one junior staffer in toe, so I will likely be having at least one dinner with them anyway.

Any time from 6 onwards is fine by me.

When you book please ask about byo
Oh yeah, I forgot you wanted to bring wine. Should we consider alternatives?

Nothing there are very few BYO places in DRW. It drives me bonkers.

Ming court does BYO if you feel like Asian

Bugger! Here today and back for another night on 21/4, bad timing for this I guess. FYI Hilton Darwin is running a 2 or 3 course dinner 2 for $55 or $74 respectively on Living Social/Cudo. Great value, thought you might want to check that out but Penegal is probably sick of the food there being his second home

I have been known to have the Hilton Room Service occasionally.

I have actually never dined in the "restaurant" at the Hilton Darwin for lunch or dinner. It seems to be a bit lacking in atmosphere mid week, although with John Lucas and Carey Osborne on the case, they seem to be making a concerted effort to improve the F&B offerings at those outlets.

I had the 3 course dinner and wine there last night. High quality food, especially the prawn and scallops entree. Extremely good value for 2 x $74 considering you could choose any entree/main/dessert from the menu.

The fog in MEL has me arriving too late into DRW for this...
