This year it was door sales only and there was a good turn-up by 4pm when the doors opened. It looks chaotic but they had v good queue management.

I can think of a few adjectives applicable to the apparent cellar weather.. (currently 19.6deg at 5.48pm in brisvegas)
How is the diet wearing all this temptation ?

After sinful days, there will be several days of the dietry equivalent of a cilice Plus the gym is still a thing. Weight maintaining at my target ... so far .

Tonight was probably the worst weather I've experienced at Winter feast. There was some rain a few years ago when a number of AFFers attended, but tonight was continuous drizzle. But thats why we were inside tonight

Cherry and Pinot noir ice cream on a hot apple pie, with a Quiet Mutiny Pinot to wash it down.





Although I share the local thought of ‘there’s no Covid here’, I was a little surprised that the local health authorities allowed seating of unrelated parties facing each other on benches across communal tables - 1m or less. They were very strict on QR code scanning on entry, though .

So sad if may be the very last. At least you got to go before it ends! They had stacks of cancellations due to state borders slamming shut.

I’m hoping that’s just a tactic to get locals to show up after so many interstate cancellations.

With the shed at its COVID capacity, last night there were queues to get back in from the outside area from around 5PM. I was personally happy outside after my enforced two-week VIP stay at the Ibis Styles, lots of free samples being passed around and some very grateful vendors.

Yes hopefully that is true. Apparently overnight they lost about 40% of their attendees. Looks busy though so that’s good.
