I assume you just log in and renew thus extending your membership.

Just need to renew it and you'll get the credit on your account. The memberships stack, I've got 3+ years membership remaining from the last time they ran a similar promotion and using a free yearly code.

It was never advertised for me, I just renewed normally and it worked.
