I have bought the six pack so I can see what all the fuss is about. 🤣
I tasted them several weeks back. All impressive as usual. Elegant, restrained and terroir very distinct. The ST stood out for me, loved the Andelmonde and Standish. Relic most approachable as always. Lamella felt out of whack but prob needed another weeks worth of breathing.20260415_183724.jpg

For the Canberran pinot lovers, you can pick up Stefano Lubiana Pinot Noir for $31.47 in a six from the Franklin BWS (10% off in a six, additional 10% off storewide, 24% cashback at shopback ($25 cap)).
Thanks for this, @butters_1313! Were you able to make the double 10% (in 6x and storewide) work in a single order? No dice on my end, unfortunately.

This is probably one of the best deals that I have come across at Skye Cellars.

I have tried Dowie Doole Cali Road shiraz 2022 and it was superb - tried it yesterday against Meshach 2018 and it held its head high.
Definitely not for cool climate hipsters and faint hearted - it is a big and powerful yet well-made SA shiraz from McLaren Vale.
Haven't tried the Reserve Shiraz so I grabbed a mixed pack to try.

Here are the links for the Dowie Doole wines:

Discount Code: DOWIE

It gives 20% off from the displayed price on all 3 deals So just under $13 a bottle or thereabouts in any combination.

RRP for the Cali Road is $80 and for the Reserve is $150 from the DD website. Not that it matters as I doubt they were ever sold for that.
VM has or had both for $25 a bottle.

Here are some reviews

Reserve Shiraz says

Halliday Wine Companion
Outstanding
ā€œThis comes from a small block replanted in '74 on the California Road Vineyard. Oak maturation in French puncheons and hogsheads, 50% new. In keeping with all these '16 DD reds, there's ripeness and fullness without the sweetness of style the region can produce. Dark berry fruit, chocolate, cedar and mocha are all in the mix along with robust tannin.ā€ – Steven Creber
Rating: 95
