Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

How do you get this price on the moss wood? Trying to buy but well over $100
I think he's talking about the Pinot Noir, not the Cab Sauv.

However for those in Vic, and not so fussed about vintage, thanks to @SirCrumpet you can currently some great deals on the Cab Sauv:

BWS clearance buy 6 and get it down to $80.16 a bottle:
BWS Richmond (12 bottles available)
BWS Toorak (12 bottles available)
Clearance price $99. Buy 6 and get 10% off, then extra 10% off due to promo today = $80.16 a bottle (you have to go all the way to payment to have the 2nd 10% drop in)

I also note BWS has started to clear Stonewell, Wild Witch, Dead Arm, etc.

The 2024 Standish wines are available. Password oak

They have a new offering this year.

"The usual suspects are on offer as well as a rebirth of one of our favourite wines – Andelmonde. After purchasing this vineyard a few years back, Nicole and I have converted it to organic farming, tended to the vines and reduced the yields. As such there are only a few barrels of this one to go around, so we have included it in a mixed six pack to make sure there is enough for everyone to share and relish. "

I have bought the six pack so I can see what all the fuss is about. 🤣

Today's Langtons "deal of the decade" $100 Barossa Icon confidential at $30 is
Neldner Road Barossa Valley Shiraz 2022

Also same price on other sites as a "mystery wine"
"Access has just been granted to what is arguably the "deal of the decade" for Barossa Shiraz lovers. While producer rules prevent naming the wine in this message, the pedigree is unmistakable. This is 2022 Shiraz from a legendary Barossa winemaker, sourced from prime 30-year-old Marananga vines. In a nod to the "baby Grange" tradition, this stunner was matured in the very same barrels used for the maker's flagship $800+ Shiraz."

Did Langton's marketing recruit someone from Vinomofo? Only a con artist would argue this is the deal of the decade.

$22.99 at Winestar if you can cope with a dozen

$27 at TWC Mystery Product - Buy Online | The Wine Collective
Also $25 at kemenys

Also $25 at kemenys

Also heads up for anyone that buys from kemenys, their "hidden label" wines have the original labelling removed and replaced but the "secret label" wines have the original winery labelling. Threw me off initially as this isn't really clear on their website.

I've decided to ignore Wine Pilot reviews from now on.
The three reviewers quoted (with scores up to 98) for this wine all happen to be from Wine Pilot.
Suss or what?
Wine Pilot reviews are quite useful. Because they are public, when quoted on "mystery" wines it makes searching very easy. Long may they continue. :D
