Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Agree on Eisenstone. SV902 HDV was certainly my fav, closely followed by the SV901 Greenock and SV904 McDonald. $67 ea is a great buy for these IMO!

Sigurd used to be with them but I see no longer.

FWIW, TWC still have a mixed 6 of '21 Eisenstone for $400 ($320 if can get FLASH-20% to work).
I’m torn on getting more of what I liked in the Hoffman SV902 but also very interested in trying the McDonald! Do you think it’s worth getting and trying the McDonald? Or stick to Hoffman? I should probably only buy one or the other… right?

The fact that these two are still up is interesting to me, i'd jump on them if i didn't already own them:

(known as x11):

These are his two primo blends each year and are the big 190$~ish price tags associated with them. Rated highly consistently amongst reviewers, the reviews attached to the above pages are accurate as far as i can see (98's and 99's).

Adding Huon Hooke's review of the D'or:
98 points
"Very deep and youthful purple-red colour for its age; smoky charcoal, graphite, mocha, and dark chocolate on the nose, including a generous quota of charry oak. The wine has extraordinary intensity and profound depth—the concentration not out of control but beautifully proportioned and balanced, retaining elegance and shape. Opulent, very long in the finish, and the tannins are rich, fleshy, and supple."
- Huon Hooke (The Real Review)

Edit: nevermind it looks like they're sold out unfortunately.

I got some of the Hoffman 21 from grays VIP and should’ve gotten more. Any of their other range you recommend? Might just grab some of the ‘22 otherwise.
