Need a bit of advice from the champagne-lovers out there. I know there are a few of you!

I do not drink champagne. Am strictly a red wine lover. (actually I only love Argentine Malbecs, everything else is just a make-do subsitute)

I simply know nothing about the bubbly stuff!! But my wife is getting addicted. She has always vaguely enjoyed the traditional stuff consumed by us average people in Australia. Asti Martini, etc etc etc. $10 - $20 a bottle stuff. But after doing a few flights on LAN and Qantas J, and hanging out in the good lounges, recently she has sampled some much better...

Being visibly unreliable doesn’t seem a great strategy.

I actually have a bottle of the High Seas Navy Strength version, just dug it out of the Gin stash, paid just over $100 for it from Spirits of France. It's pretty fiery, will try it later with some tonic. It would make a pretty mean Negroni though

My mixed dozen order arrived today, the box shrink-wrapped in black plastic and each individual bottle bubble-wrapped.

The wines seem to be generally current release, except for a couple. Turkey Flat Sparkling Shiraz is 2019 disgorgement and the two bottles of Felton Road Bannockburn Pinot Noir were 1x2024 and 1x2012, very strange, but a chance to taste an older Felton Rd, hope the storage has been good..

I sent them a message prior to ordering and they promptly replied and advised the Sons of Eden Remus and Romulus was from 2015, which I was happy with. . I also ordered some Hentley Farm wines I have never tried and are rarely discounted. Pretty stoked with the haul.

The Beast from 2019. Reviews mixed, got one to try. I didn’t check vintage on The Beauty.

It has sold out, I reached out to the rep and he put 30 more at that price in case people missed out. I grabbed 2 of these packs to share with mates/family

I loved the glass of Xanadu red served at the Windsor Hotel in South Perth a couple of years ago. Was pleased to hear they won a big prize internationally for their latest wine.. Seems the wine judges know my wine tastes.

The base prices are full RRP, they are a wholesaler too. Eisenstone prices after 44% are hard to beat if you are in that market, but lots of different ones to choose from and I think you need 6-pack buys.
