Yesterday I picked up Fighting Gully Road Chardonnay(2021) and Scorpo Pinot Gris (2023), and got the notification to collect. When I got to the store, they wouldn't release them because of the pricing, and had referred to head office. I was annoyed that I wasn't notified, it was a trek. Today I did an online chat to check they were ready. Chat said they were, then said to wait on needed to make another check, there must have been a flag up. Finally confirmed they were ready to go.
The store manager was very unhappy. I assume he had no reply from above, so decided to release the wine anyway.
Chickens are now hatched.

cough experience, glad you got it in the end. When I got my 26 Woodcutters, old made went in store to do a double check of something but it was ok.

I ordered some of the Serafino late yesterday and got a message after about 20 minutes that my order was ready. As the store is only up the road, I was tempted to go and collect it straight away in case it got flagged (during office hours?) but thought I'd wait. Called in this morning shortly after opening time, grabbed the goodies and took off

I forgot to mention the best bit. On day 1, one of the reasons given for non-supply was an RSA concern - (Responsible Serving of Alcohol). Chapel Street is out there, but really?
It appears that at retail, they don't understand how the pricing can happen, but head office aren't too worried, especially on a Friday afternoon, or can't figure out how to stop it either. Keep those hits coming!
