For my money they are the best value producer in the country. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris (with a little skin contact) all amazing. The wickhams rd chardonnay above is also producer by them, and is their 'even more budget' option, but still very drinkable.

The Wichmam's Road Yea chardonnay 2024 has just arrived at Winestar at $19.99 per bottle:

Gets top accolades from the real review.
The review is for the Yarra Valley Chardonnay. The one mentioned by Learned_One is the Yea Chardonnay.
I can't see the review for the latest but they are anyway both on Winestar and direct from the winery at the same price of $19.99.
I may get myself a little mix with some of the Pinot Noir for tasting.

For those that say "wine is not worth buying duty free". Prob true for 99.9% of wines, but often there are bargains to be found!

I will unashamedly admit that I've been (selfishly) keeping this gem quiet for a loong time (sorry not sorry 😜). Even better when you add a $15 b'day voucher!!

3 for $316.20!!!

(Ornellaia for $380)

Came across this "wine deal"

Spend $200 on Wynns to receive a Driza-Bone Lumberjack Heritage Jacket for $50

Check T&Cs incl. The offer will run in participating stores (excluding Dan Murphys, BWS, Liquorland, First Choice and Vintage Cellars) and (excluding online) which are displaying promotional material (Stores) in Australia.

Record low interest in mystery boxes here this time. My how we've grown!
My spend at Cellardoor has dropped significantly since the ability to reveal the majority of mystery wines was removed. I'm surprised they have taken this approach as it essentially removes a portion of their customer base, and to 99.9% of punters they'd have no idea the ability to uncover the wine's identity exists.

Yes, not being able to work out mystery wines are and mediocre offerings to spend the quarterly Bud $25 vouchers on (combined with the perennial problem of having too much wine) mean my Cellar Door spend has plunged too.

Doesn't really leave many places to buy $200 of Wynns wine at any kind of decent price, needs to be a physical store that isn't any of the big ones or an online one 🧐
