I purchased 2018 vintage of it from Dan Murphy for $8 as Under Wraps (12 X Under Wraps Western Australia Pinot Noir 2018 (Bottle)$96.00 from my records). But I believe that RRP was $28 at that time from memory

I shared a few bottled in the office with our lunch time Pizza and all the boys loved it and most ordered dozens at that price. Well made wine, perhaps a little simplistic for a PN.

My verdict - I would but more for $8 if offered but at $16 it is a good buying but not a bargain. Particularly in light of all the deals we seem to see on these boards.

Anyway my 2 Aussie pesos worth ....

The sole review there is too harsh IMHO.

I bought this from mof_ and was well impressed. Quite robust for a pinot and needs a little ageing, plus a good decant if you want to drink now. Would buy more at that price. There is some decent pinot over here, Castle Rock, Batista Estate and Picardy, come to mind for example, but you won't find those on special anywhere.
 
Has anyone been able to crack what the JD cellars secret wine deal #700 is?

RRP and Alc are match for Thompson Estate Chardonnay 2022 but cannot match the reviews
