My Mystery #1 was switched to Luxury Collection Wynns (June 2023). I had the Mystery #2 already in the order so suspect they switched it to something else so I didn't get two boxes of the same. Pretty happy with the switch if it holds true for $125!
 
I got the Coldstream box
Not a PN fan but I expect guests will like them enough not to relegate to the gravy shelf

Hmmm, what's in the Wynn's luxury collection? And how did you find out about the swap - on arrival or did they email separately?

My $275 mystery box came with the WB grey rather than the JR... Have enquired about it but was told it was the correct case. Can't help but feeling hard done by...

Some of these rrps are very inflated, I found the 2017 journal to be a very average wine last time, certainly not a $100 or $175 bottle

It’s worth remembering that these are sold as mystery boxes and their contents (including those that have another mystery box inside) aren’t generally exposed / made public.

It’s fun to dig in and unearth some of the mystery, and equally fun to place a bet on buying a hidden mystery product shared on a forum like this that could end up being a great bargain or could equally end up being cancelled with some probing questions sent your way.

In any case, it’s all part of the gamble - I’m not sure you’re going to get very far with arguing your case to cellar door, and I imagine we would see less of these revealable in future if people start complaining that they somehow managed to find out what was inside. 😅
